     From its establishment in 1972, as a marketing specialist in energy-efficient insulation materials, ASSISTCO has since diversified into a:

• Major producer of refractory castables under license from Thermal Ceramics Inc., U.S.A. and distributor of its other insulating products
• Furnance builder/erector and hot and cold insulation installer
• Civil works construction firm
• Mechanical works and light metal fabricator

     In the last two decades, our progress has been a tremendous success. This progress we shall maintain non-stop, by achieving and improving job performance, better product sourcing and skilled manpower, implementation of computerized application construction techniques; these avenues will lead us towards helping the Philippines reach NIC in the very near future.

TECHNICAL EXCELLENCE

     To complete some of the most complicated, demanding and hottest projects of the Phlippine Industry, we continuously update our technical expertise and know-how, in collaboration with our product licensor and principals, who pass on to us specifications of global technology leaders and leading international engineering companies.

     These are evaluated by ASSISTCO's highly competent technical staff for suitability to Philippine conditions.  The necessary equipment to undertake such projects, as well as the manpower to undertake them, in the most cost-effective manner, are available within a reasonable notice to proceed thus resulting in expeditious completion of projects.

MARKETING and TECHNICAL SALES COMPETENCE

     Product marketing is handled all over the archipelago by some 18 sales engineers of both sexes, with either a chemical or mechanical engineering background.

     Our ability to produce and source high quality energy-efficient products backed by sufficient stock inverntory, supply and delivery support are part of our customer satisfaction program.  Sales of materials for application in "hot problems", are cleared with our Technical Sales Staff for CAD thermal conditions and proper recommendations as to installation techniques, energy-efficiency and cost effectivity.

INTEGRAL SERVICES

     Within our main office and branches in Visayas and Mindanao, which enjoy the advantage of regional knowledge and technologies, in such industries as the sugar, fertilizer and copper smelting, ASSISTCO offers sound integrated services in:

• furnace rehabilitation and repairs
• furnace lining design and installation
• furnace building and erection
• building roads, bridges and other superstructures
• light metal fabrication
• noise-reduction

     Computerization and team working are designed to expedite project coordination and planning, technical services, engineering design, prodcurement, fabrication, marketing, delivery, installation, maintenance and serviceing in a highly organized system.

QUALITY CONTROL

     Our licensor, Thermal Ceramics, Inc. requires a quality control report from every production batch we produce.  Random samples are submitted to the Industrial Technology and Development Institute (ITDI) of the DOST, an internationally recognized testing laboratory.  The results are then passed on to TC for their perusal.

     So far, since starting our local production not one batch has been found to be below their quality standards; in fact, ASSISTCO'S production sometimes exceeded their quality criteria.  Proof of this, is the acceptance of our products in the export market.

      Our company is ISO 9001-2000 certified for the manufacture of refractory castables since 2007 and was in fact upgraded to ISO 9001:2008 and certified by Certification International Phils.,Inc. to date after complying and passing the thorough and rigid requirements set by the certifiying body which concentrates primarily on the quality of our products.
